Poster Submission

Call for Posters

We invite abstracts from public health professionals, students, community partners, and investigators to present results of scientific research, program evaluation, policy analysis and lessons learned from injury prevention projects during the 2017 MIPA Summit Poster Session on Thursday, November 30th, 2017 from 4:30-5:30 pm (poster can be set-up and displayed earlier in viewing area).

We encourage you to present a poster on any topic related to injury or violence prevention. The posters may present findings from your research or describe an injury prevention program.

Other things to consider: You must design, print and bring your poster. We will provide poster board and easels to pin the poster for display.

Maximum size of poster display: 3’x5’.

Describe methods/strategies used including study design, setting, population, program or intervention, outcome measures, and analytic approach.
Describe your results or lessons learned in sufficient detail to support your conclusions. Tables, graphs and figures are encouraged.
State the implications of your findings for communities, clinical practice, research, education, or policy. Also share next steps for this work.
